Westbound SR-91 Improvement Project

Metro has a plan to ease traffic for a better drive on the SR-91 Freeway. Upgrades include a new lane westbound between Shoemaker Avenue and the I-605/SR-91 Interchange, and improving the I-605 Freeway northbound exit to Alondra Boulevard. Along with traffic benefits, this project will improve driver safety. This project is under the I-605 Corridor Improvement Project, which identifies possible improvements along the I-605.

Metro’s partners on this project include Caltrans, Gateway Cities Council of Governments, and the cities of Cerritos and Artesia.
