Interstate 405 Sepulveda Pass Northbound Carpool Lane
The I-405 Sepulveda Pass northbound carpool lane and the widening project was an eight-mile freeway improvement project spanning from Interstate 10 to the State Route 101 and Interstate 405 interchange in Los Angeles California.
DLCE’s staff took a major role in the preparation of design drawings for construction. This included completing highway geometric design and cross-section details for the modification of street crossings. Design work also included the modification of on and off ramps along with local streets and roads redesign. DLCE staff used the latest design software (Microstation, Inroads) to provide innovative design solutions in line with Caltrans standards.
