I-405 Improvements Project (OCTA)

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is widening the San Diego Freeway (I-405) between State Route 73 (SR-73) and Interstate 605 (I-605). The project spans 16 miles and will involve making improvements to freeway entrances, exits, and bridges as well as adding one regular lane in each direction between Euclid Street and I-605. Additionally, the project will add 405 Express Lanes, incorporating the existing carpool lanes and a new lane in each direction between SR-73 and I-605.

D'Leon currently providing construction engineering support services for major bridge overcrossing and undercrossings, structural retaining walls, and Mechanical Stabilization Embankment (MSE) walls. Our engineering analysis will also include work on bridge structures, cost estimating, quantities, design reviews, and analysis.  We work closely with our clients, carrying out design checks for compliance with local and national design standards, using the latest engineering structural and design tools plus providing CADD support services.
