Exposition Light Rail Line (Phase 1 & Phase 2)
The Metro Expo Line connects West Los Angeles by rail to Downtown Los Angeles, Hollywood, the South Bay, Long Beach, Pasadena, and dozens of points in between. This light rail project extends 8.6 miles, 12 stations, and includes three Park & Ride lots from Downtown Los Angeles (Metro Center at 7th & Flower Streets) to Culver City in West Los Angeles. DLCE’s was responsible for redesigning major utility lines and coordinated with the design-build contractor on utility identification pot-holing.
D'Leon took the lead role on producing a majority of engineering plans through 100 percent design levels. DLCE was also responsible for street improvements designs and plans, roadway reconstruction at the rail crossing at: Vermont Avenue, Western Avenue, Crenshaw Boulevard, and Fairfax Avenue.
