LAWA Board of Airport Commissioners (BOAC) Awards DLCE $950 Program Services Prime Contract

DLCE, with lead subconsultant, Airport Design Consultants Inc. (ADCI), and key partners WSP and the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), was one of 15 teams awarded prime contracts under LAWA’s MATOC for Program Services at the Board for Airport Commissioners (BOAC) meeting on February 15th.

The $950M MATOC will provide LAWA with a Program Management bench for the next 7 years and $15B of capital improvements. LAWA’s CIP II includes Cargo Modernization, Terminal Development, Land Improvements, Landscaping, Wayfinding, and continued work under the Airfield and Terminal Modernization Program (ATMP) and the Landside Access Modernization Program (LAMP). The ATMP represents about 70% of CIP II budget and includes Concourse 0, Terminal 9, and the Airfield Improvements Program (AIP). LAMP funding will cover the Auxiliary Curbs program and continued work on Century Blvd. Rehabilitation.

A small, minority-owned business, backed by our large firm partners, DLCE brings a unique team to LAWA. With a nimble leadership core and a deep bench of aviation and subject-matter specialists, the DLCE team is equipped to respond quickly to task orders with staff that balance LAWA’s evolving priorities of urgency, expertise, and cost. Additionally, partnered with BCG, our team brings an innovative ability to provide LAWA with management and logistics optimization support from executive to daily-operations levels.

DLCE is especially excited to unveil our partnership with the UCLA Labor Center in delivery of our Internship and K-12 Outreach Program, aimed at expanding career pathways for aspiring local professionals from disadvantaged backgrounds in LAWA’s Impact Area and the broader Los Angeles region.
