LAWA Board of Airport Commissioners (BOAC) Awards DLCE $950 Program Services Prime Contract

DLCE was one of 15 primes awarded prime contracts under LAWA’s MATOC for Program Services at the Board for Airport Commissioners (BOAC) meeting on February 15th.

The $950M MATOC will provide LAWA with a Program Management bench for the next 7 years and $15B of capital improvements. LAWA’s CIP II includes Cargo Modernization, Terminal Development, Land Improvements, Landscaping, Wayfinding, and continued work under the Airfield and Terminal Modernization Program (ATMP) and the Landside Access Modernization Program (LAMP). The ATMP represents about 70% of CIP II budget and includes Concourse 0, Terminal 9, and the Airfield Improvements Program (AIP). LAMP funding will cover the Auxiliary Curbs program and continued work on Century Blvd. Rehabilitation.

DLCE is especially excited to unveil our partnership with the UCLA Labor Center in delivery of our Internship and K-12 Outreach Program, aimed at expanding career pathways for aspiring local professionals from disadvantaged backgrounds in LAWA’s Impact Area and the broader Los Angeles region.

DLCE was responsible for design ofthe new ERDIP domestic and fire water systems within LAX’s Central Terminal Area (CTA) as part of the Roadway, Utilities, & Enabling (RUE) Project. DLCE also provides engineering and management services for LAX’s Airfield & Terminal Modernization Program (ATMP), Automated People Mover (APM), and Midfield Satellite Concourse (MSC-South).

DLCE is currently leading utility engineering and civil design for LAX’s new Southwest Concourse 0.
