Advancing Regional Mobility: DLCE Supports the North Hollywood to Pasadena Bus Rapid Transit Project
Metro has officially broken ground on the North Hollywood to Pasadena Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Project, marking a major milestone for one of Los Angeles County's most significant transportation investments.
The project will create a vital transit connection between the San Fernando Valley and the San Gabriel Valley, improving mobility for residents, commuters, students, and visitors throughout the region. Once complete, the corridor will provide faster and more reliable transit service connecting North Hollywood, Burbank, Glendale, Eagle Rock, and Pasadena.
Designed to enhance regional connectivity and support sustainable transportation goals, the project will improve access to jobs, education, healthcare, and essential services while helping reduce congestion and vehicle emissions.
The North Hollywood to Pasadena BRT Project will feature dedicated bus lanes, enhanced passenger stations, and infrastructure improvements that support a high quality transit experience. The project represents a significant investment in the future of public transportation and will strengthen connections between communities across Los Angeles County.
D'Leon Consulting Engineers (DLCE) is proud to support this transformative initiative as part of the project team. DLCE's role focuses on advancing roadway, drainage, utility, and civil infrastructure design for the North Hollywood and Eagle Rock segments.
Working closely with Metro and project stakeholders, DLCE is helping advance the project from 30 percent design through final design. Our team is responsible for developing and coordinating critical civil engineering elements while supporting agency coordination and stakeholder engagement efforts that are essential to successful project delivery.
The groundbreaking ceremony represents more than the start of construction. It reflects years of planning, collaboration, and investment aimed at improving mobility throughout Los Angeles County. Projects like the North Hollywood to Pasadena BRT corridor play a critical role in creating a more connected, accessible, and sustainable transportation network for future generations.
DLCE is honored to contribute to this important initiative and looks forward to supporting the project's continued progress as it moves toward construction and ultimately begins serving communities across the region.
