LA METRO

The Purple Line Subway extension proposes a tunneling extension from Wilshire/Western Avenues to West Los Angeles and the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). DLCE has taken a major role in the development of the project’s utility master plan. This included the relocation of utilities for major utility companies in the City of Los Angeles (Department of Water and Power, gas and electric private companies). Tasked included the preparation of engineering design drawings for all major underground stations. Additionally, our company prepared engineering designs for the following stations: Rodeo Drive, Constellation/Avenue of the Stars and Westwood/UCLA which includes underground boxes structural analysis and design, track alignment, utilities, street reconstruction and CAD automation support
