LAX has embarked on a multi-billion dollar modernization program designed to provide improved, state-of-the-art facilities for passengers and visitors. The Midfield Satellite Concourse (MSC) Terminal is part of this infrastructure modernization program. The MSC Program includes a new concourse facility located in the central area of the airfield, west of the International Terminal. The MSC will improve overall airport efficiencies and operations, reduce remote gate usage, and ensure the travel experience for international LAX travelers which will ensure uninterrupted operations and schedules at other terminals.

DLCE is playing a key role in the construction supervision of the MSC by managing the new federal customs and airport employee security facility installations, providing project management of new facility materials and equipment, and supervising the development of all new concession facilities.
