Eastside Light Rail Line (Phase 1 & Phase 2)

The Eastside Light Rail Line is a transit corridor connecting Downtown Los Angeles to East Los Angeles communities. Phase 1 of the Eastside project was a light rail extension from downtown Union Station to East Los Angeles/Atlantic Avenue. The  Eastside Transit Corridor Phase 2 is a planned transit corridor connecting Downtown Los Angeles by extending the Gold Line in East Los Angeles to the San Gabriel Valley cities of Los Angeles County. For Phase 1 of the project, DLCE performed environmental planning and engineering for a number of structures along Washington Boulevard and the State Route 60 alignments. DLCE is continuing the engineering for Phase 2 project including utility identification and third-party coordination with East Los Angeles County corridor cities.
