State Route 710 South Environmental Freeway Improvements

2018-2022

LA METRO

The SR-710 Improvement study project is an MTA funded project. The project studies involved the analysis of a number of alternatives starting at the north end of the SR-710 to connect the SR-210 (Pasadena). A number of alternatives were evaluated, including a highway and/or transit tunnel, bus rapid transit (“BRT”), highways, street improvements, light, and underground heavy rail systems. The objective of the study is to help alleviate traffic congestion within the area and the Los Angeles basin.

DLCE’s staff was responsible for the preparation of a number of technical reports. DLCE prepared numerous electronic drawings which include the identification of conflicts of the existing utilities with respect to the new proposed facilities as well as reviewed and evaluated a number of track alignments.
