ESFV Light Rail Project Receives $893M Grant Funding

LA Metro was awarded a $893-million grant earlier this week for development of the East San Fernando Valley (ESFV) Light Rail Transit Project. We applaud the USDOT Federal Transit Administrator for providing this major grant to the ESFV Light Rail Project. DLCE is a partner to the Progressive Design-Build Team and is providing civil and engineering services to advance the project for San Fernando Valley residents and visitors.

The proposed project is a 6.7-mile at-grade light rail that will connect new and existing regional transit networks including the Metro G and B lines, Metrolink and Amtrack rail. Construction on the $3.6-billion ESFV Light Rail project will conclude in 2031.
